Description The Giant Moth-Owl (Megalostrix papilio - Swenton 2016) is a giant (2 meters tall) Strigid from the east coast of North America. It has three colour morphs, brown (shown here) (50% of the population), black (40% of the population) and white (10% of the population).

My personal opinion is that the Mothman is a giant nightjar or potoo and the Owlman is a bona fide owl since it was described to have "pointed ears"

What other scientific name is there I also fixed the wingspan problem (raising its folded up wings) and colour inconsistencies
