Anyone who's finished the plotline of The Elder Scrolls III: Tribunal (an expansion pack for Morrowind) knows that the Dagger of Symmachus was at least a bit disappointing, due to its being... a regular old glass dagger. Or at least looking like one. That bothered me.So, as it's been said in my journal, I have 3DS Max now. This object here was my first project for The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind (Bethesda Softworks). It's a brand-new mesh for the disappointing Dagger of Symmachus, a unique mesh worthy of an artifact. This makes me much happier to use that dagger now, as my character likes short blades.

And if you don't play Morrowind, then... well, behold my first attempt at 3D modeling. Except for the 3DS Max tutorials, of course.
EDIT: This has been greatly improved since I first posted it; the image now reflects the current version.

Wow that thing looks vicious..I certainly wouldn't want that plunging into my side. If it was in real life, then the glass would shatter, and you'd have a nasty, glass filled wound

Hahahaha, that's what I made it for! It's a custom model I made for The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind (the much-better precursor to Oblivion) since the original model for that weapon was totally unimpressive.

Wow, very cool for a first attempt. When I looked at the thumbnail, I thought "Wow, that looks kinda like those glass daggers in Morrowind". And I was right

Seems like everyone's talking about artifacts these days. I just got a new artifact/blue deck for my birthday, and today when I played it this guy kept whining about "the artifacts, they're all so cheap". If he can't deal with the cards, he shouldn't be playing in the first place, and he shouldn't be whining to his opponents.
Whoops, sorry, slipped into rant mode there. Umm, the dagger, yeah, I'm probably not the best judge, but it looks pretty and shiny and stuff. And it's my favorite color. I so want one now.

Finally, someone gives us a good model to use!
It's quite beautifully made. I wonder if you plan on redoing some of the sorry-looking items in the games. Some could definitly use it.

Glad it's appreciated! Anyway, to answer your question: Any items designated as "artifacts" (plus the Dagoth Dagger) that lack unique meshes will get them, when I have a chance.
