Description
The MBAR .45-70 is more or less exactly what it sounds like. A modernized (ca. 1980) BAR chambered in .45-70 Govt. Here featuring an under-slung M203 grenade launcher and a 60 round drum magazine, the MBAR was capable 500 rounds per minute, assuming the operator could handle the intense recoil. The weighted barrel extension and included bi-pod helped to mitigate this drawback but even so the MBAR was more bucking bronco than thoroughbred. Marketed as a "hybrid LMG/AR" the MBAR never saw much success, primarily due to its weight and unwieldy nature.
Update: Changed the position and size of the magazine so that it lined up with the bolt.
Improved lighting environment
Tweaked sight to line up with rail
Tweaked textures
Rendered in 4k
Overall happy with the changes but perhaps 4k is a little overkill as small texture and mesh imperfections are now on full display. Oops.
