After many months of waiting, I finally had the chance to post my Johto team! I posted my Kanto team last January and forgot to post another follow-up but yay!
My team consists of Cyndaquil, Ledian, Noctowl, Corsola, Piloswine, and Bellossom. I'll be breaking down each Pokemon why I picked them.
Cyndaquil
There's no doubt that Cyndaquil would be chosen because Cyndaquil is my favorite Pokemon! It was my 2nd starter after Totodile which, I accidentally released on my first try of Pokemon Gold. After my 2nd try playing Pokemon Gold, I got a shiny female Cyndaquil. It was my last shiny in the main game.
Ledian
After beating Bugsy to get my 2nd badge in Johto, I fell in love with bug-type Pokemon. Ledian became my favorite bug-type since then.
Noctowl
On my first try playing Pokemon Gold, I accidentally released my Feraligatr in Ecruteak city. I panicked and lost hope but kept playing. I then trained my Hoothoot after being defeated by a Noctowl in the lighthouse and came marvelous after.
Corsola
I didn't catch Corsola in the game. I fell in love with this Pokemon because of Misty. The animation of Corsola every time it battles was astounding!
Piloswine
One of my favorite Johto Pokemon next to Cyndaquil, and even more when I found out it could evolve to Mamoswine in the Sinnoh region. A huggable and strong ice-type Pokemon.
Bellossom
I remembered Bellossom was part of the 'teaser' 2nd generation Pokemon. When I first saw the teaser Pokemon, I thought Bellossom was a 'fakemon' because of its colors. From hate to love. I managed to get one after getting a sunstone in the bug-catching competition in the park!
