"to repair with gold"; the art of repairing pottery with gold or silver lacquer and understanding that the piece is more beautiful for having been broken.I needed to finish a personal piece to get myself in a better frame of mind.

I wondered whether or not I made a mistake by not including the full definition on the picture itself, but that felt very cluttered. Some people have not read the comment underneath with the definition and have gotten a totally different perspective about this being about modifying yourself with something "over the top".
Though, I think that is pretty interesting as well

Intriguing idea and I think there is definately some truth in that, it is the struggles that we overcome that really build our characters I think. The people who have always had things their way/ had it easy can often be shallow and uninteresting and perhaps lacking in compassion for other peoples problems, as they have nothing to compare to having never had problems themselves.
Beautiful character design and I love the peaceful almost meditative expression, she seems to exude inner strength
