Hehe I always thought it was funny myself xD After all, one of John's most infamously backhanded comments to Yoko was that he liked her because she "looked like a bloke in drag". What he MEANT was that she had taken the place of his male friends to become both lover and companion, but it was an... INTERESTING way to put it.

Well... you're quite the historian (for a science nerd wasn't it?) You could be the only person in the whole world who understood what-the-hell John was thinking! I may go back & add a background collage to this ensemble - Yoko screaming, Chapman shooting, Salinger crying, Shankar thanking his lucky stars, a submarine, a walrus, and a chorus line of Goldiggers. haha

Hahahaha well yes I do know way, WAY too much about The Beatles, but I can't take credit for knowing what John was thinking just then-- it was explained in Philip Norman's "John Lennon: The Life". Excellent book.
