I don't buy any stock images until I get the 
More than 1/2 the time I end up replacing them with either personal stock from the client or a different stock image so IMO it's pointless to buy anything upfront.

For feedback on the design I assume although scraps might be a better place. The best option would be a category for website designs that are in progress but it isn't an option currently

I agree that the phone cord could be better or simply move it more to the left to center it.
Top left photo doesn't seem to fit either IMO. Most children don't start dance until they are at least 2 and usually not until they are 3 (my little girl started at 2 1/2) and a crawling baby isn't a good match.
i.e. a shot of the shoes or a cute girl in a dance outfit would be better IMO.
The pink drop shadow on the logo makes it look blurred and would look better without it or just a simply black drop shadow (down)
Buttons/icons look great
Yellow/tan background is kind of bland but works. Personally I'd love to see these colors used if keeping warmer colors or one of these if looking for brighter colors.

Sorry, should have been more specific. The logo text "CUSTARD FACE DANCE WEAR" to the right of the logo is what I was talking about with the pink drop shadow placed above the text which makes it blurry.
Honestly the logo with the face is very clear and easy to read so I'm not sure you even need the name again to the right. If you do keep it I wouldn't capitalize the text since it's not capitalized in the logo.
I just noticed that photo to the left of the shoes, can't for the life of me figure out what it is though 
Looking forward to seeing it complete
P.S. Out of curiosity what do you charge for a site like this? Do you create it in Flash or HTML/CSS?
