So waaaaay back in May I uploaded this pony (and dragon)-packed updated of Edward Hopper's painting "Nighthawks"

That, however, was not the original. Rather I was working on a request from the amazing Vincent Tong, voice actor extraordinaire behind such characters as Prince Blueblood, Garble the Dragon, and Donut Joe! He asked for his characters set against the backdrop of the original painting for an upcoming convention appearance.

Sadly, that convention fell through. I didn't want to use his special piece until he'd had a chance to debut it, but at the same time I wanted to display it at a local art show where the reference would be appreciated. So, I made some changes and turned it into a Twilight/Trixie/Spike joint instead.

With Vincent's permission I can finally post the original! At the time, it wasn't public knowledge that he was voicing Flash Sentry in the Equestria Girls movie, but I REALLY wanted to add the character on the far-right-hand stool. Need to go back and add him to the scene sometime.
