I probably say this for every costume at some point, but truly this Supergirl costume is my FAVORITE costume to date. I have loved reading the New 52 reboot Supergirl comics - she is so much more badass and they do a fantastic job of conveying the tragic side of her character. She's one tough chick. I felt so awesome wearing this costume and random people would come up and treat me like a real super heroine! There's no better feeling in the world! An old man in downtown Raleigh asked if I could pick up his car and move it to a better parking spot
Made my day.I had a fantastic time protecting Raleigh at Animazement this year and really blew my mind with this photo! It's my favorite photo ever taken of me <3 She's amazing. When my husband added it as his iPhone background that was pretty much icing on the cupcake of awesome that Sonja baked!

Looks great, are your eyes really that blue?
Ever see the Supergirl issue where comic fans sent into costume sketches? Some of them were pretty good.

No my eyes are blue, but not Kryptonian blue. I wore contacts for this costume to get the nice blue you see there

That's a great costume, you've got the right combo of innocent but tough there. I'm more of a Marvel guy than a DC one but I do want to read some of the New 52 stuff and Supergirl is definitely one of them.
