Because trainer black already has a vs portrait this one was made specially for trainer red and i don't see the point of giving black another vs portrait.

It's because a friend of mine is gonna make a ''Black 2 White 2'' hack battle VS Black, just like with red in HG/SS. And this fits good because he is supposed to look older and stuff! He's supposed to look like the ultimate trainer and not some younster.

Basically the entire sprite is custom.
i made a quick sketch of red doing the pose them i started cleaning it to look decent,i grab the pallete from other vs portraits,then i used again other vs portraits as references for the shading and yeah that's pretty much all.
