An assignment from my Intermediate I painting class, Spring '05.
Acrylic on canvas with some paper elements.
In a vain attempt to get around actually painting, I tried to do something that was more of a collage, incorporating some old maps I'd found. In the end, I found myself enjoying the painting aspect more than I'd thought I would, and it became primarily a painted work.
