Description My Animalbet project I'm currently undertaking for illustration class. I would eventually like to complete the entirety of the alphabet, but for the time being, I'm focusing on vowels.

aaaaaaaaah this is wonderful. i am really jealous of your technique, and precision with watercolor. how do you do it?

Haha, it's easy-squeezy, actually. For the iguana, it's just a tedious serious of abstract squares/rectangles, painted with a decent sized brush, then gone over with black charcoal for the drawn suares. There's a bit of futzing in photoshop to clean a few spots around the piece, but pretty much completely traditional watercolour. I don't have any progress shots to help with any kind of tutorial, but it's easy enough to wizard up on your own.
