This took a really long time but anyways!! The final version of this piece. It went through a couple different versions. You can see them on my Instagram
I wanted to have elements of both pirate and mermaid to capture them in the most suitable way! They’re a pirate and mermaid couple, with Bo being a pirate as well.
Boadicea belongs to constelleration on GaiaOnline and Derek is mine.
For the background, I got inspired by the art of James Jean.I'm really happy cause I think I finally found a digital art style that I feel good about doing! I really wanted to capture an almost traditional art look.
