Something about 02 (Originally 0 before getting whupped in Dreamland 3 by the Lovelove Stick ) and the Dark Matter in general always intrigued me as a kid. I thought the whole idea of them exisitng in Kirby games as the overall main villains was both cool and creepy. I really don't know how to explain it but I've just always been curious about these guys, and personally I'd love seeing them come back in a remake of Kirby 64, or a new game all together
Also I'm seriously happy with how this sketch came out you have no idea a;sldfang

I mean- the band-aid and the halo- are those because he's "dead" from getting whupped by the Lovelove stick as you said? And then, when you're battling him, once you hit his eye, I could never figure out what that greenish thing that comes out of him actually IS. O___O I just know you're supposed to hit it. ;;
Anyways this looks REALLY REALLY great, I absolutely adore the shading!! Especially on those crystals, or... those things at the end of his... wings (???). YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN. X'DDDD

As far as I KNOW- 02 is supposedly Zero from the end of Dreamland 3 who's risen from the dead as a fallen angel It's mentioned in the little trivia section on this page, and I definitely believe it myself [link]
I have no explanation at all though for his weak spot x,DDDD
And thank you! :,D It was really fun to shade. I think they're supposed to be feathers but I intentionally made them more shiny like crystals since it seemed more fitting ;v;

Yeah, that's what I thought too (I may have worded my question weirdly). But THAT WEAK SPOT WHAT THE HECK, it really creeps me out haha. It looks like a pointy cactus or.... something.
