With a taste of a poison paradise, I'm addicted to youSo this is my audition piece for EG. I had been toying with various ideas (Desert/Arabian, underwater) and nothing really came out how I wanted. The theme was "Inspiration". Well, this lovely thing ended up being inspired by the always amazing apexdigitalconquests . She has a much darker aesthetic than I normally do. I wanted to branch out from the bright and bubbly and her work definitely inspired me.

This turned out absolutely perfect!
I love the green reflections from
the glowing feet! And painting the eye
bright like that was a really nice touch, it
pulls everything together! And don't get me
started on that hair. I really don't mean to gush
haha but really, this is wonderful. This is a perfect
example of balance in a dark manip.

about branching out by going darker. I've been trying to do
the same thing, only i'm trying to bring more light into my pieces :3

I can definitely tell. Your latest manip especially I feel shows a lot of branching out and growth. It still has a pinch of the characteristic Apex darkness, but it shows a lot more light and detailing. Definitely one of your best ♥
