Christmas present for my friend Brittony.

Probably one of the more time consuming pieces I've done, from a modified pattern in the Japanese book "Miniature Beaded Dresses".

The folds on the end of the dress occur on their own - I didn't need to fold or twist anything for it to happen, and it gives a very pleasant effect of the tide coming in, in my opinion.

The waist fits nicely over the top of my pen, and is about 2.5 inches tall.

i'm confused....it seems like you use plain nylon...but from my experience most of the 3D patterns don't work with nylon....what do you use?

It is nylon, but it's a Kevlar brand. It's quite hard to break unintentionally, and comes in spools. I believe I got mine off Amazon.
