!! Someone posted a video of these teeny tiny books on Reddit and they were nice enough to answer my excitement on where to get one.

This only took me one night to put together. I worked on it to take a break from the six solid days of commission stitching I did last week.


I think this was really quite easy to do. Obviously you need a good lamp and patience. Tweezers, scissors, and my xacto knife were the only other things; everything else was in the kit. The instructions were... lacking. They're in English and Japanese but leave a lot of it to you to figure out on your own. The most difficult bit for me was the bed, I feel like the instructions really left that part too simplified. The toilet was also kind of weirdly put together. I made the little box too for the book to go into but decided it was cuter outside of it.


My favorite part is the wardrobe! I loveeeee that the little doors open up to show off the dresses inside. IT'S SO CUTE.

Thank you! The bed is actually pretty clever, the part that glue'd to the floor is cut at an angle, so when it folds up the longer part still goes with it.

This is truly impressive!Β  Seeing this immediately brought back fond memories of the doll house books that I had when I was a little girl.Β  I love all the beautiful details in everything--the rose-patterned wallpaper, the little paintings, and the ornate furniture.Β  I love how you can even open the little wardrobe.Β  I'm just astonished at how you packed so much intricate detail and accuracy into a quarter-sized book--and all in just one night!!!Β Β
