On February 27, 1996, Pokemon Red and Green, the first ever Pokemon games, were released in Japan. It was a huge success, yet many people though the game's sprite looked unprofessional. This caused Game Freak to then make a reroot of the game, known as Pokemon Blue, which would then become Pokemon Red and Blue worldwide. Because of this, the original game sprites have been forgotten, or has it?

I decided to make fanart of the original sprites to see how much the Pokemon have changed over the years.
