Went to the junkyard to find some parts for DJ's Eclipse and my Olds. I took my camera along for the ride and found some great "new" arrivals to get shots of. It was a long couple of hours of searching and cursing and photo taking...even longer when we realized they hadn't blared the siren to let us know that we had 10 mins to leave. We got locked in, if only for 20+ mins.Related content

I'm suprised that actually accepted it, they normally wont take something that is not a perfect looking upercar... but I'd be will willing to bet that if you looked they've actually removed it from their gallery already... they're sneaky that way.

You know, you are right. I went and looked. I can't find it anywhere in their gallery or in their favorites. That is interesting. I didn't realize that they did that.

When I asked about it with my own works, they suddenly stopped accepting anything from me, then when I asked about that they banned me!
They say they are a group for Automotive fans, but in reality they only accept photos of Supercars, and just how many red Ferrari F40's, or crooked photos of new Camaros from a front 3/4 view does a person have to see before they are boring...
My theory is that they do this bit of sneaky backstabbing so that they dont have to have a deviation that does not fall into their narrow interests but that deviation will advertise their group still, and so will the unsuspecting Deviant who submitted it.
I would be outright shocked if you got any kind of reply from anyone there if you asked about your photo being missing...

An amazingly dirty tactic, but an efficient one. Free advertising without compromising what they consider to be a high quality for their group. bleh.
