NO LINEARTS MAKE LIFE EASIER!6 hours, one day
It was originally going to have her dress BE the drippage chocolate over the strawberry, but a hint of pink it much cuter. My parents want me to start steering off anime. I have to admit it's a slightly underappreciated art form and often isn't taken seriously. So realism may be my thing. If I get good enough
This is one of 5 chocolates, and I'll splice them together and put a box background. Unless I get lazy.

I think that's a really cute idea and you executed it well. The soft colouring is good. You're getting to be consistent and thorough in your colouring XD I think you did well with the ruffles of the cup and the folds in the dress. The shading under the neck looks good too, just keep working, you're improving quickly xD
your parents are 100% correct. If you want to get REALLY good at anime or ANY other form of art, you'll have to get good at realism. Especially if you want to go to art school or something like that, you must demonstrate that you are able and have knowledge of how to draw things as they are. You shouldn't stop drawing what you want completely, but now is a great time to pump yourself up on the basics
