Chimchar, the flaming poop pokemon. dont you see the uncanny resemblance of the mound on its head? haha.. i respect the designers for cultivating my acquired taste for starter pokemon.. that is, designs that only look acceptable over time (i really thought its one of the sore thumb starter design until the G5s came along) I got to say most of my empathy came from the very traumatised chimchar from the cartoon that dug and dug to escape.. a poor thing hiding from the face of the earth.. until an earthquake comes along..
