SURPRISE I UPDATED AGAIN so quick ya? Well not gonna be quick now bc I ran out of pre-drawn stuff.Which would be because this is the end of Chapter 1. In-game, we've only just gotten our starter--chapter 1 is basically more of a prologue than anything. Chapter 2 is still slower and goes up to the first rival fight, then after that we should be getting more action!

since this is gijinka, the pacing is slower than regular run and there will be some work on world building

Nice! We've got some father-daughter tension building up; a possible love triangle between Edna, Ruby, and Kailani; and all-in-all sweet ending for this first chapter that resolves a good portion of the fears Edna and her mom had about the school. I'm definitely looking forward to the next chapter, which I suppose will quite possibly involve a father-daughter meet-up, some Team Aqua action, or a gym battle. Can't wait to see what comes next! You're doing an awesome job!
