I think the reason why none of the Jedi tried to find out more info about Grievous is because they were focused on winning the Clone Wars and also because they were blinded by their rage/disgust of Grievous and his brutal and monstrous actions. Grievous was so driven by his vengeance and bloodlust (even before he lost everything and became a cyborg, he was an incredibly brutal and bloodthirsty warrior) that he left his past behind and joined the Separatists just so he could kill the group he believed ruined him. Even his fighting style emphasized that, being utterly relentless and vicious in his attacks, causing his opponents to filled with so much anger/frustration or pure terror that they couldn’t fight to their fullest, i.e. the Jedi rarely ever using the Force agains’t him because they were to focused on surviving his onslaught.

Yes that's true - the hatred for Grievous definitely blinded them.
He was a great fighter, and his story that turned him into that 'monster' is one of the reasons why i love this character so much.
The fact that war and loss turned him into this broken and poor man makes his killing and his hatred kinda understandable - at least for us fans

This's truly heartbreaking. It'll become even more sad if we remember that Separatists manipulated Grievous's mind (almost erased his memories) and because of that he probably can't even recall the happy moments he had back when Ronderu was still alive.

True, and the famous Kenobi never asked the question why he hated the Jedi so much,Grievous was just a victim of the War and the lie of those who would do anything to win it.

Everyone saw him only as a Droids Commander in the War, nobody would have thought he was before being a General and nobody ever did.
I do not know if he would have wanted to ally with the Jedi if he had been caught and know the whole truth about Doku. Probably he had given information or he would have tried to escape to go kill who had used him as a mere pawn of war.

And yet they (Disney/ LucasArts) tried to cram us that he was rejected by to become a Jedi, so he voluntarily chooses to become a cyborg and joins the Separatists to get revenge or whatever they're saying. But we all know just how tragic Grievous's origins truly is.
