Some doodles for my fic "Though a Bird Can Fly...".I meant to just do some warming up exercises, but I think I got carried away... lol!

Oh wow! This is unfair!! You write so well (I've been reading this story for quite a while) AND you're an awesome artist? XD Wow. I'm so glad to know for sure what Piers looks like, though! (I just finished reading the chapter where he disregards Brigg's orders and yells about being born on a ship and is just generally AWESOME.)
anyway, yeah. FANTASTIC!! Though.... Kuina doesn't look all that scarred to me... she's wearing her makeup though, right? ^_^ Wow, it really works!

Funny, the portraits of Tashigi and Kuina bare little resemblance, but the chibis are uncannily similar.
As for Tashigi's awful taste in shirts the less said the better. Nice little sketches if little more than that.

I think the makeup had something to do with it. I should try one pic of Marine!Kuina and do a comparison.
Yes Tashigi had some really awful fashion sense in the beginning, didn't she? but she sure improved in the later chapters...

Thank you! I'm still not 100% happy with his hair (hence the ?) but I think I like him better with the Marine cap on.
Tashigi's surprisingly hard to draw... it took me quite a few tries.
