__The End__Guess what I was listening to while drawing?!
Finnaly something new from me, that was so good to work this way again.
I missed it too much.
The awesome texture on her dress is by =resurgere
The other textures are mine.

I love the background texture and the way her sleeves fade into it. It's really interesting to me to see the full version as compared to what I was expecting from the original thumbnail. The orientation is completely different, and much more interesting and flowing.
Just goes to show that the thumbnail really doesn't do the final image full justice.

I think you are so true, and I´m really glad you like my work in the original version.
This is a main issue with my work and I experienced this with some other works too. And sometime it works the other way: the work seems great in the preview shape but then in it´s original version, it is a bit of disappointing...

Yeah, I've definitely seen some works that I was expecting one thing from the thumbnail, and then found something that seemed slightly less grand in the full. Heck, even with the full, if it's not large enough (I've seen this with some of mine), important details can be lost.
With yours I've never been disappointed by the full version. Surprised once or twice (with this one, my mind saw the girl as wearing a black dress for some reason with her body extending down on the left, instead of angling to the side), but never disappointed.

I really agree, sometimes I prefer to see some of my work on a smaller version and sometime theyreally look better in bigger... glad you've never been disappointed!

Jolie composition, par contre je trouve que les textures aplatissent pas mal ton image, on perd la sensation de profondeur

merci pour cette critique, même si pour ma part je trouve que les textures évite la sensation de platitude que mon trait donne. Je garde cette critique en tête pour les futurs.

Le problème en fait n'est pas d'utiliser la texture, mais de ne pas l'appliquer en volume, c'est a dire que le motif devrait se déformer et suivre les plis et la profondeur de ta robe

je vois, mais c'était voulu, c'est en fait comme de la peinture en aplat sauf que la couleur est remplacée par la texture... mais de même, c'est un choix particulier et je comprend parfaitement ta critique...
