Admit it: you played it. You loved it. Earthworm Jim and Earthworm Jim 2 were among the greatest games in the history of the Golden 16-bit era, and Evil the Cat only helped make it even more enjoyable.As a matter of fact, he's the best villain in the series. I keep seeing Psycrow fanclubs and whatnot... Evil needs some love, too! Seriously, he claims that the element of evil was named after him instead of the obvious other way around.

CLAIMS that the concept of evil was named after him? No no no. He was around before time began. Evil WAS named after Evil the Cat.
The only error is the claws are too short, and not vicious enough. Those things made steak knives look lite toothpicks.

I've read that Evil has filled his planet with generally uncomfortable and annoying things meant to torment all who are unfortunate enough to end up there. Elevator music, lawyers, homework, Bob Sagit, that kind of thing.

Crazy fun here. There sure isn't a lot of Evil the Cat fanart out there as there really isn't a lot of EWJ fanart in comparison to most games out there either. So that and the nostalgia is a big plus, and then there's the almost curious usage of kanji, all the better. And then there's this crazy awesome pic involved too, once might notice. The shading technique is nigh perfect, the pose is unbelievably expressive and edgy, and aside from the smallest of nitpicks about something odd about his thigh joints not looking quite right (but hardly bothersome) this is one of those pics that's all with the happy for game fans. Very nicely done.

The one thing I wish I could redo is his claws. >.< They look all crooked and bent out of shape.

They seem to fit the character to me, but then felines are pretty persnicketive about keeping appearances presentable. xP

This sure brings memories. Like, in EWJ 1 the only way you could get in a shot was when Evil was licking himself. (...we won't mention where...) Or in EWJ 2 how much my brother used to sweear when the cat would pop his guy's head. Sadly I don't remember much of the cartoon. It must've not lasted long.

As a matter of fact, the show didn't. It onl had two seasons, one of which didn't even finish. At least it was still funny.

Psycrow: "Pffft! Git outta here! You're not a bread-maker!"
Prof. : "Oh yeah? Watch this!" (makes grunting noises, until he produces a loaf of bread from his coat, complete with a microwave-style "ding") "Actually, it comes in handy. If I pull on the monkey's tail, I can make pumpernickel."

And yes, I remember Earthworm Jim as one of the many comical characters of my childhood. I also remember the puppy-throwing, the old lady beating with a cane and a cow, but I can't recall that cat D:

Well, let's see... The original released in 1994... I was born... uh, 1986... Hm... I was 8 at the time I played it, which was about a month after its release. I still remember Evil. And the game, which I rented every week I got my allowance instead of just saving up to buy the damn thing. :-p
