Description
This is a redo of an older piece, which I changed a lot after the critique.

I re-did this a few months after completing it in my last school year. I've been going through my art lately and realized there's a huuuuge stockpile that I have yet to upload on here! So I'll probably upload one every few days.

I'm still happy with how this piece turned out, but looking back, it's exciting to realize how far I've come as an illustrator working digitally. 2 years ago, I didn't have any comprehension of digital art, but now I'm learning and I'm having so much fun

Onto the piece itself:
Since the girl depicted kinda looked like a surfer girl, I thought it would be better to have the skittles dancing on a surf board. My teacher said the thought of food dancing on grass was a little unsettling, and I grudgingly agreed. But he was right! haha
I think changing up the color scheme lightened it up more and works better than my last one. I had fun messing with the type, and I think having it on curves makes more sense for this piece than just typing it straight like my previous illustration.

I remembered this took soooo long to work on. But thanks to these grueling assignments, I am soooo fast at pen tool now. I could easily lay this out in a fraction of the amount of time it took me only months before.
