Guh! A round of applause for *LouisaGallie for doing another gorgeous colour job on top of having a fairly crappy week her side of things.So, Sarah's not taking quite the same route through the Stone Maze this time - welcome to the Chess Garden.
(I've had that idea of crossing over the two Jim Henson properties like so for a while now.)
(And seriously - that Hat is annoying.)
Sarah's first line, is of course, in response to a certain kinda garbled-but-discernable "ya mother is a fraggin' aardvark!!" insult from the Pavement Brownies, and like pretty much every university student I've met, she can quote Monty Python's 'Holy Grail'* to the word.
You really need to have seen 'Labyrinth' to be getting these pages, but then that really is a bit of a given for this fancomic.
Luna has a HP-verse magical camera, naturally, for field observation.
(* : ... but doesn't recognize the Dread Creature of the Cave of Caerbannog for what it is on first sight. In all fairness, it LOOKS like a harmless little bunneh, though, and that's half the point.)

The weird part of this is I completely envision the labyrinth world crossing over with the dark crystal world because I think the Labyrinth world is in the space between dimensions and I think its portals can open to many different worlds including ours and other worlds .

Hey, lookit! Sarah put her hair back up in a ponytail... which makes me think that, like me, she usually carries additional hair bands in her pocket / bag.
I really really like how Luna's able to focus on her own studies, and doesn't mind Sarah griping at the Hat, as long as it doesn't interfere.
And I admit that I STILL have never seen The Dark Crystal, and have no intention of trying to watch it. I was post high school the first time I tried, and have NEVER been able to get more than a few minutes in. I can't even point out what it is that triggered my OMG-freaking-out response. Sorry, but I'm definitely a wuss when it comes to watching movies.

Dark Crystal is, in fact, effing dark. My main problem with it is that the puppets of the main characters and the most humanoid, the Gelflings, cannot emote at all which seems a poor choice. And there are some creepy ass monsters and the pacing is all 80s-weird and slow.
Maybe pick up one of the picture book adaptations? It's still a gorgeous world to visit, and kin to Labyrinth.
