Smooth move, Sarah, but clever =/= wise....In other words: To be continued. O HO HO HO.
(This was an interesting exercise in a vaguely-plotted storyline expanding and changing and suddenly not hitting one in five of the originally planned lines of dialogue... Although the slight parallels to a similar [but much darker and serious] discussion of villainous and heroic roles in recent Roommates I don't think was deliberate. )

So I just noticed this, but did he pop out of his mirror? Does his mirror contain the entire labyrinth in it? Because if so that is amazing and beautiful and awesome.
Also, his face when she let's her hair down! It's like he's thinking, "Oh ho ho, you remembered that little detail from our date, Sarah dearest. Hoping I'll go easy on you?" ♡

Nice touch, I really love the magical shortcut idea! And it totally fits in with his story too.
I wonder why he prefers glitter poofing into Sarah's room instead of mirror travel?
With Sarah that terrain's probably covered with mines- good thing he is not personally concerned about gravity.
And a master within his element is always comfortable, no argument there. 
She *is* catching on rather quickly, which makes it all the more exciting.

Sarah's mirror is on her dresser, not full length. Imagining Jareth stepping/scrambling through that like he's sneaking through a window or is Sadako in 'The Ring' isn't bringing the supernatural sexy, y'know?
More seriously, it's less that Jareth is a regular traveller on the King's Roads/through mirrors so much as that one in his bedroom (that he doesn't much sleep in, btw) is just his personal gate to his realm. Glitter poof remains his favoured method of transport.

I think it's great that he chooses glitter-poof because it's glitter-poof. You get sparkly, and can arrive anywhere, anytime. Plus, it's kind of Eric's and the accidental evil stepdad's thing, so Jareth probably would much rather avoid being more like them in any way he can.

Plus... in order to take her hair down, the act of reaching her arms up would have stretched that catsuit even tighter in certain areas.
And I've got an idea about what's actually in the box and why Sarah shouldn't open it... except that his understated reaction nixes it. *sigh* I'll keep randomly thinking about it.

Strangely, while I love SO many things about this comic, the thing that sticks out the most to me is the fact that Sarah is OCD enough to be able to pinpoint an eyeshadow that she lost--if she's a freshman right now--almost a year ago. Maybe women just pay closer attention to such things. Or maybe she's trying to save face.
Also, it's very hard for me to find cartoons sexy, but Sarah is certainly doing it right now, that sassy b*tch. /pets her

Exactly. Jareth told her he likes it better that way, so she is hoping to gain a slight edge by distracting him - also, it allows her to grab the two very sharp needles she had in her bun for close quarters self-defense.

That said, Jareth looks awesome... His expressions are priceless, specially in his second and third panels... when he follows her hair flow... Wow.
I must repeat how impressed I am with your style. Your characters are elegant. Of couse, Jareth more than Sarah... you can see his pose with his loose blouses... But when she gets all cocky and gets on the suitcase, she moves like a ballerina. Your pictures move with elegance. Quite a feat, considering they are, you know, not moving at all.
Now I hope someone will buy your designs and give us a second movie... animated. The original actors can't make the movie, but they can supply the voices... Oooooh, your drawings already move, they would look amazing in animation.

I just hate it when the bad guy says "Heeeeh, you did something wrooooong, you're just as evil as meeee..." Yeah, because recovering stolen stuff is worse than actually stealing it in the first place. I just hate it when villains try to convince the good guys that they're "not so good" because they are not idiotic. So, good for Sarah's answer. I'm glad you didn't get into that terrain... I just hate the double standard: if the good ones are perfectly good, they're stupid. If they act logically, they're, according to the villain, "just like me". Huh?
