This is dedication art in a penpal's Alyssa album, parcel currently belatedly on its way so, spoiler for her if she sees this first. But wanted to share the wee wintery-fuzzies moment.Β I'm not sure what Sarah's smirking/Jareth-owl is peeved about, feel free to headcanon or fic it....

He was brooding over missing her before seeing her walking back to pack up to go home. She just heard from Christine how upset he was and that's why she's smirking at him.

(Sarah is smirking because she has been teasing Jareth the whole walk to the Starbucks. Β He was trying to be sneaky in flying behind her but she saw him so she's been making comments like 'boy sure is cold, sure wish I had someone to put their arm around me OH WELL' and 'I forgot how much I love winter, maybe I should give Jadis a call...' and he's finally cracked and swooped down from his tree and is going to just walk with her like a normal friggin' person which is what he should have done in the first place and Sarah and him split that hot chocolate which she ordered because Jareth doesn't drink coffee, only tea, but this hot chocolate is really good and Sarah's hand is warm in his and that's pretty great)
