This is my 2-day warm-up painting for my upcoming busy summer vacation!Inspired by seeing the hatching of 3 queen bees at my mums apiary the other day. Bees are just the cutest, smartest and most useful little honebirds!
Why is she eating a larva princess? Because that's the first thing for a newborn queen to do - destroy all other unborn queen bees. Oh well :3
