Red Fox (Vulpes vulpes)Sweden's most common predator, seen it many times but cant get a good photo. This is the best I have of the Red fox right now

They are very jumpy creatures
No, wonder, everything bigger (sometimes, even smaller) than them whant to give them a bite, so... better run than be eaten. Even so, sometimes this little ones can be really reckless

I see a lot of red foxes too, mostly when driving in my agricultural settings around the house but also in urban setting, on the campus ! Young ones are not very careful and are frequent roadkills, thought. But when walking...Nope.
I am curious to know how you deal with the shutter release noise in wild life spotting.

Hi just like me i always see the fox when i dont have the camera on me just frustrating
The shutter release is a big problem for me i the animals are very sensitive about the noise it makes
i have a noise dampener around my camera and the i us use a large zoom lens with a minimum of 300 mm but i prefer around 400-600mm and then i hide in a tent or a gille suit
But many many times have a seen the animals run away so its not a guarantee for success

This looks good to me. Foxes probably are fast on their feet so I photo sounds difficult to take.
