Cary: *smiles* Say, friend... Are you, by any chance, collecting pennies from heaven?
Buster: *Buster stops and looks at Cary with a mute expression as if his mind is wandering, then thinks on what Cary asked. He examines himself, then does a sharp look to his umbrella which he realizes is inside-out* ..Oh..
Cary: *looks at his own brelly* Here, take mine. *switches umbrellas with Buster. He fixes the broken brelly, folds it up, and walks into the building*
Buster: *looks amazed as the brelly returns to normal, then looks at his nice new one, opens it carefully and continues down the street. He passes the building and as he gets to a small space between the two buildings, a strong wind blows through the crack and his new brelly turns inside-out. He tries to reshape it, but it only gets worse. Frustrated, he throws it on the ground. He clings to the overhangs and awnings as he continues down the street.*
Sorry, I couldn't help it. Love this photo-manip, it's so clean, I can't tell what the original picture was and what was pasted into it (though I have an inkling it was Buster cuz I've seen "Steamboat" before lol). You got the eye line-up perfectly, like Bus is looking at Cary. Man, if only they did make a film together.. Cary's vaudeville stuff would work in-sinc with Busters' stuff, both can do gymnastics/pratfalls, and Cary's kind-natured character would be perfect to Buster's beaten-down character. Yay for photoshop magic

and i love this story haha as a screenwriter, this is fabulous, so perfect visually and at capturing the essence of each character - both the picture and the words complement one another beautifully, just like a wonderful script and the finished film should. well done!

HAAH! you clever one!
oops, buster needs a shadow, as my sister so keenly pointed out (but don't change it, i'm not sure if that would work)

Yeah I had some issues with this one; so many things are off. Buster's umbrella was giving me an ulcer, something weird kept happening to it throughout the process. And then I like deleted his body with no way to undelete. Then I fixed the body. And then I was like o wuteva. So I posted it.
I'm not looking for an award or anything, so I don't really mind.
