Have I ever mentioned that I like Fraggle Rock?Anyway, with all the current fraggle hoopla, and me having no way to express my fraggle feelings, I opted to draw the Fraggle Five. We've got Gobo, Mokey, Red, Wembley and Boober.

You do such a wonderful job drawing the Fraggle five.
I will eventually tackle drawing all five together, but it will look nowhere near as good as you draw them.

Thanks. I think this was the first one I had done in a long time... of course, it's been a long time since I drew it actually. I think I was trying to get accustomed to them again.

Some day I really want to get a painting done by you, or five, or a few more.
I really would like to get a pretty awesome (like your glorious GoBo one) of each of them, and maybe one of Marjory, Philo and Gunge with cool lighting in the garden, and some dozers, like cotterpin and her dad or somethin.

Well, if I ever take on commissions, you may get the chance. I have been thinking about doing a set of portraits of the 5ice like the Gobo Glory one. I wanna re-scan some of these older fraggle drawings cuz the colors never came out right on the old scanner.

I really need to teach myself to draw fraggles. Loved them since childhood, especially Mokey. Always wanted a plush toy of her as a child. Alas, she's the only one I don't have.

Fraggles are pretty easy. I'm glad you like them. You can always eBay Mokey. Thay actually make a new one... although it looks a bit weird.

this is amazing. I'm jealous of all who can draw Mokey. i don't know why in god's name i can't get her rite!! I'm just now starting to try to draw them tho, so...xP good job here!

Thanks. Mokey's got a different kind of head shape and then she's got those huge pupils. I may have used a photo of her on this drawing but I can't recall as it's been a few years. I've got some other Mokey pics in my gallery if you're interested.

Yay! Great height reference! I've been wanting to draw Fraggles since I started working at the Jim Henson exhibit at our local museum, but I wasn't sure how to go about it. Your style helps a lot!

I absoultely hate you and your ability to draw the fraggles so well. I have attempted COUNTELSS times ( and I'm too damned ashamed to show it ) so I was wondering if you had any tips? Tricks? A tutorial just for me maybe? Anything. GEEZ you draw them so well.

How do I draw them... how do I draw them? Think. Think. Uhh... well, depending on how accurate I wanna be, I use photo and illustration reference and sometimes one of my plushies will pose for me too. That's about it though. I've been drawing Gobo for so long though that he just falls out of my pencil sometimes.

I've been learning that being positive attracts more positive things and negative attracts more negative things. I'm kinda tired of the negative so I'm trying to change.

Well, we're chatting here... it's just not as uhh... up-to-the-moment. Honestly, I'm not on line enough to ever consider hooking up an IM service.
I'm not trying to sell books or anything but, there's this nice book that's out now called " The Secret " that's been quite helpful to me. It's all about positive thinking and such. Perhaps you should have a look at a copy. Target has it for under $20 I think. It's only a suggestion though.
