Thanks, Gayle, it was a bloody good day. Motivated me to get out and about more. I haven't really done much since my heart surgery, but today, and the coming of Spring have really made a difference.

It was a great day. You should get out there if you get the chance, Ian.

Wow, very dramatic sky. Pity the sun is so blown out. But all in all a very nice and moody photo

I was a bit peed off about the sun. I have some ND grads in my bag that I think might have helped save it, but they are in a part that unzips. I went to get hold of them, and saw that I had taken off the bottom bit of the bag. Never done that before. Must have done it to save weight, because I was also toting a holga, lubitel, 35mm slr and a polaroid. I was like a bloody Himalayan sherpa!

That would be great, but only if we could sit at that kitchen table of yours afterwards and talk about what a great day we had.

My holga is new, but the lubi is an old one, and my ricoh 35mm is one I bought new in about 1978. I have used the hell out of it, but it is like new, and the 50mm prime is brilliant.
I had two lomos because I had colour in the holga and B&W in the lubi. I think the lubitel gives much more conventional results than the holga. The holga is just like going out with your drunken, sex craved mate........very unpredictable.

Actually, David, I'm glad you said that. The pictures I submit seem to be lighter when on dA, so I compensate by making them very slightly darker when I process them. This one I saved the original, and have changed the file. I think it is much better.
