This is a mixed media image referencing images I've collected from my travels to Luxor, Greece, Italy and many hours strolling through museums; painted in Photoshop and Coral Painter to create a new fantasy scene. I love ancient history and mythology - I'm a bit of a geek like that!

this is impeccable! both statues look divine, especially like the folds! (too bad the front one is not as detailed as the two entry 'guardians') you gave the fire some magical extras by slightly making it dusty-like, me likey

This is awesome, and I think its great how you "researched" such a scene through your travels. I can only imagine how breathtaking a scene like this would look... I mean look at the size of those! The flames and falling sand... How magical.

I love that kind of suggestive atmosphere and the fantasy theme! Just a little advice: for your lighting to be more realistic, you should put a light source between the twin statues. Otherwise we wonder where the highlight come from.

Thank you so much! I'm glad you like the concept. The light source is coming from the magical sand in the hourglasses the statues are holding - but you are absolutely right, I should add a subtle glow around them to make this more apparent. Many thanks again for your comments and advice!
