Hehehe... This stemmed from an idea that I didn't get to use in "The Rescue"
Originally, Matty was supposed to be drawn to the cave by hearing a faint sound of a harmonica, and when she finds Aime (after the cave-in), she's the one playing. However, the gunpoint was a bit more dramatic and went with that.
This also stemmed from Austin when he decided he wanted to play the guitar, and spawned into a short story that I'm working on. (Will be posted at a later time...)
So "somehow" Jonah learns the Two-Step and as the Brother and Sister duet plays in the background.
They're playing "Ashokan Farewell" (Even though it was written in 1990...it sounds something from the time. :3) With their instrumentation, it would sound like a far more polished, slower and longer version of this: [link] The Original instrumentation can be found at [link] I don't want to say how many layers this is (I lost count), but it came out exactly how I wanted it to. I originally used pose references, but ended up scrapping them and going with my own thing. There were plenty of mistakes (and I'm sure there are more) but some of them I did catch.

In the end, I'm VERY pleased at how this came out!

I was surprised at how well the atmosphere turned out as the environment was in synch with the characters and vice versa. It was really a lot of fun to do!

I really love how this turned out...the poses are simply awesome. Aime and Tav in the background playing some music and Jonah and Matty dancing (XD)...maybe Matty is teaching him how to dance right now? Who knows!
But I love their expressions...Jonah and Matty are SO in love here xDDD <3
The whole picture is so calm and relaxing... actually a shame you had to cut it from the story! ...I love moments like this hehe!

I've always wanted to do more with the musical side of Aime and Tav, and I was glad to do something with it and set the mood for Matty and Jonah. <3 I just love them so much.

It once happened to me that before I started a co-op mission in RDR multiplayer, Jonah stood there playing a violin xDDDDDD (When you join a mission, the characters always get some random animation in the beginning) ....I squeed because it looked kinda cute but it was rather unlikely.... just like in the next mission, where he was cutting tomatoes

LoL! Thank you. When I first started working with the Southern Accent, it was such a struggle. But once I get it in mind...it seems to work out alright! (I freak out my Fallout collaborator every time I start speakin' in it. XD)

I thinking about splitting the stories (This one and the one with ghost stories involved) so it works a bit better - at least in my mind's eye.

LOL! Some dialects are just like that. XD In America...jeez there are too many to keep track of. Michiganian (What people from my state call it, I guess) is such a mix. I came across a website that has all of our crazy pronunciations in it, and was amazed with all of the idiosyncrasies. To get a decent grasp, I offer this quote from the site: [link]
A little bit Fargo, a little bit Nasal Chicago, and a little bit Canadian, the Michigan Accent was derived from a lot of the linguistic influences of its early settlers: Irish, Finnish, Welsh and Dutch. In some areas, particularly around blue collar parts of Detroit, hordes of poor Southerners who came up the Dixie Highway to work on the assembly lines in the early-to-mid 1900's have also injected a bit of Southern twang into our Northern European heritage.
The resulting mix is similar to a pirate from Kentucky with a head cold...
I just find this quote HILARIOUS and accurate for the most part... Some good examples can be found here: [link] and unique words here: [link] I think the worst one for me was trying to learn how to spell the word "Library" because it sounds like "LIE-Berry" in the dialect and use-ta spell it like that too. That and Nuclear is also a tough one to get out at times (NUKE-yuller). XDDDD

It can be...I have a really hard time coming up with lyrics, but if I just set at the Piano, I usually can "noodle" something that sounds pretty good. Lyrics, I'd sit there forever and not come up with a thing.

Nah, Michigan isn't that bad. We're just quirky. XD Detroit has more of a Southern twang (mixed with a bit of gangster...) and the further North, it gets more Canadian, eh? But It really isn't that tricky. UNLIKE the Heavy Southern that Jonah would have. I was in South Carolina for my brother's wedding a few years back, and at times, I had a hard time understanding people...and that isn't the deep South.
