Photo taken in El SalvadorThis is Tom. He is a baby raccoon that my cousin bought at the beach where a man was selling them for pets. Tom is sooo cute. I wish I could take him home.
I hope this doesn't upset anyone. People must keep in mind that things in developing countries are very different than they are in developed countries. People try to make a living whichever way they can and it is common for people to own wild animals such as raccoons.

lol you probably could. But u know what i just realized? I have never seen squirrels there, maybe there aren't any. Or maybe they go into hiding because they are afraid that people would eat them lol.
