Description
In art we're learning about Asian art, so the teacher showed us these Japanese symbols and told us to copy some down.I remembered that I had a calligraphy set, so today I practised and copied down these symbols.
First time I actually wrote something with my calligraphy pen XD
Which one is your favourite symbol?
And yes, I followed the stroke order.

It's interesting how the "Strength" is the katakana symbol for "Ka".

Would you happen to know how to write out the words, "Rise above"? I've got a tattoo coming up soon, and I'd love to know the FOR SURE way to draw these symbols.

i took japanese class for 3 years. stroke order is VERY IMPORTANT. plus it has to look nice.

There's no kanji that I know of that explicitly means "rise above."
