Ok, that's fair, but the blue got kind of washed flat - IMHO - by the vibrant background. But it's probably just me, it's too early in the morning here, and I'm not wearing my spex.

Or at least with one a bit more vibrant than the background. It makes her dress look kinda gray and plain. But darned is she cute.

Well, I like understatement - that was sort of the point with this pic, very soft colours contrasting nicely with the flowers. A brighter, more garish dress would have drawn attention away from it. My vision I guess, and I'm pretty pleased with it.
