oh yeah, I kinda just forgot to upload this one.

it's under the category "sky" because "the sky is the most signifigant element".

I waited for the sun to set for about 2 hours in the middle of the Brooklyn Bridge to get this shot. I got several, but this is the perfect moment before the sky got too dark, and just as the lights in the buildings were turned on and you could see them. I was also in the middle of the bridge, and the way this is facing, the entire right side of the bridge is for fast movers only (bikes, skaters, rollerblades, other vehicular contraptions) and my HUGE rented tripod was taking up a good 6 feet of space and I was SMACK dab in the middle, Many people glared ad me but I thought to myself, fuck them.

To get the flare of the lights like I did I of course had a high fStop, which meant I also had to decrease my shutter speed to maintain the brighnessm, which also means I got more blur, which is why the literally 50 pound tripod came in handy, cause the bridge DOES move, it does, you can feel it swaying if you pay attention.

And I got about 10 inquiries from tourists if I was shooting to "make postcards" of if "I worked for a magazine" or all kinds of stuff. See what a fancy camera nad tripod make people think of you? haha.

so um yeah, enjoy. I also made it 1200px wide so you can all set it as a wallpaper if you wish (right click, set as wallpaper, then go to preferences and make sure you choose "center" otherwise it will either stretch it or tile it, both of which suck.)
