Yay, more Regular Show art! I just love this couple so I had to draw them. There's a story that goes along with it, one that I will end up writing in the future.

A powerful solar storm has created a spectacular and vivid auroral display; an extremely rare phenomenon in this region occurring maybe once every 150-200 years. Mordecai, having overheard a news report about the storm earlier that day, has taken Margaret out to a more remote area of the park, away from the bright, overbearing lights of the city, for their first date. It is here that the two avians finally confess their long-withheld feelings for one another, holding each other close in sheer bliss as they watch with amazement and wonder the beautiful curtains of magenta and sapphire dancing gracefully across the clear night sky.

The idea for this story has been in my head for a while now, and after listening to Mannheim Steamroller's "Above the Northern Lights" [link] I decided to draw this scene.
