Skimpy outfits on hot girls isn't going anywhere in comics, or games for that matter, so long as the target demographic is teen and adult males because, well, most of us like looking at them and I imagine the artists rather enjoy creating them that way. I don't think it's really gender roles; just aesthetics. A healthy female body is a beautiful thing.

Yeah I understand your frustration, the superhero genre has been guilty of the heterosexual "male gaze", but it's getting better. At the very least, the Robins are nice to look at right? I mean everyone loves Nightwing - gay or straight, male or female. And hey, at least Wonder Girl's got pants on - that's progress right? Besides, it's not like DC is devoid of heroins who don't wear revealing outfits (The Question (II), Batwoman, Batgirl, etc.)...let us straight guys at least have Wonder Woman and Supergirl haha. Also, I honestly think flaunting their femininity while kicking ass is a part of their strength. I'm not sure my opinion counts since I'm not a lady, but the ladies love Wondie right? I didn't mind them getting rid of the swim suit, nor bringing them back, you know, she's flippin' Wonder Woman - she can wear whatever she wants!

Yeah; Nightwing looks awesome and badass (preferrably blue since the other two Robins are red and we need more diversity), and same goes for Red Robin and Red Hood. I agree there.

Well... Batgirl might not have revealing clothes - but they still have that odd thing with her hair hanging down back outside of her suit, which... well, seems to only be that way because she's a woman. You won't see a man wear a suit with long poofy curly hair hanging out behind out of the mask like that.

But wait, while you straight guys have Wonder Woman and Supergirl to look at, we gay guys for instance have nothing. I myself find Dick Grayson to be hot and sexy - but he only wore a revealing suit when he was a young boy... and I am no a pedophile, so... XP And you know, I'm not really all that sure many ladies love Wondie. Most I've seen tends to love Raven and Zatanna and especially Catwoman more, to take examples.

But indeed, let Wonder Woman wear what she wants, dangit. Especially since she is as said supposed to be an Amazon.

I agree with you but Wonder Girl's outfit didn't really go backwards compared to her old ones.
The worst case was Wonder Woman, who had pants and the fanboy outcry was so bad that they gave her the god damn swimsuit back.

I don't believe they should censor I don't consider skimpy outfits
'going backwards', but I have to say Diana doesn't look bad in the right pants; her Injustice costume was pretty cool.

I've seen Wonder Girl with full body black outfit with stars on it though. That's always something.
