Personally, I actually like the red more. It pays more homage to when he was Robin, but I guess that's just me.

Blue is still better.
But it's not the red that bugs me about the New 52. They took away many things that made Nightwing special and gave them to Tim.

I'm thinking it was due to DCnU so Nightwing's color change was a part of the history that was altered after Flashpoint. He resembles Batman Beyond to me except with a mask.

awesome i think i like the red over the blue but I'm used to the blue, so i would like to see how the red works out or not

I like the Blue Better. I feel like the red makes him look... evil... or like... idk it reminds me TOO MUCH of Batman Beyond. Like... cover his head and it might be a revamped-outfit-Batman Beyond.

I don't exactly object to the way the red looks, but it's basically the outfit he wore when he became Renegade for a while, so I find it a little confusing (I expect him to be evil when he's in red). Having said that, I really do like this drawing, despite it not being my favourite costume (blue with fingerstripes will forever hold a place in my heart) - you got his expression absolutely perfect

My second least preferred of the redesigns, I don't like the red and, I feel, the more armoured look doesn't fit Nightwing. Just my opinion, though.

I think the red costume - down to the spiked gauntlets - is way too similar to the Robin costume in the 90s' Batman & Robin film. So, bad connotations there. D:
But I like this a lot! Love the smiley, slightly smirky expression especially.

I miss the old Nightwing. This new design reminds me of Joel Schumacher.

I actually prefer him over Tim Drake. He's like Bruce in many ways, but not afraid to also show a bit of humor and basic personality. Aside from his more showy fighting style, that's what i like most about him. I didn't like the change to red initially but it's grown on me in the months since the start. Part of that is due to the fact that his book has been one of the best in terms of illustration. The artists so far have done a great job on him and I really like Kyle Higgins writing.
