I love it! There's something both dutiful and complete anarchistic about his expression that just makes it clear that even though he's a god who is bound to keep balance, that he will not hesitate to fuck your life up so completely that you'll be begging Hades to take you to the Underworld just to protect you from this fucking lunatic!

And even then you won't be safe from his occasional visits.

Oh yeah, I forgot that Hermes acted as a messenger of the dead in Greek legends. Thanks for the refresher course!

Ah Hermes, the god of messengers, travelers, merchants, thieves, and pretty much everyone who survives by their wits and dumb luck.

Awesome, and so wonderfully steampunk

Interesting. Technically the Greek god of healing was Asclepius, a son of Apollo, sometimes Apollo himself. But we associate his winged serpent staff with doctors now, even though Hermes was not just the god of messengers and travelers, he was also the god of medicine.

I really dig the steam-punk feel to him.

NICE!

Ok Mastermind , how is the caduceus staff and Hermes connected?

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caduceus…

The Caduceus has always been the symbol of Hermes. Dumb doctors made the mistake of mixing it up with the non-winged, one snake-entwined Rod of Ascelpius: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rod_of_A…

Well, Hermes is the God of Thieves and Trickery, so it kind of makes sense that he'd pull off such a scheme against the Healthcare Profession.

I totally assumed he was the God of Health lol

But you gotta give him some credit. I mean he did make the first Lyre for Apollo.

Yeah, he actually did it to get Apollo off his back for him stealing his cattle. But he liked the instrument so much, Apollo traded him the rest of his cattle so he could have it.
