I have to say, it's hard to work out just which aspects of Deathstroke you were going for here, but since he has always had a very specific look, that's expected anyway and this is just a really nice looking Slade.
I will say I do notice he has the eye in his mask coloured red like the Injustice version (and sometimes the New 52, they're not really consistent about that feature) and the mask also does look like it's made of a hard material like most recent versions of Deathstroke. I do wonder if Arkham Origins Deathstroke had some part in this, due to the lower contrast between dark and bright colours, as well as some of the armour plates, but I can't say for sure.
Although I have to say, the design of the rifle, and position of sword and staff, look VERY similar to the DC Universe Classics Deathstroke figure, so that'd be neat if that was part of the reference here (it's one of my fave figures I have to say).
Still, awesome Deathstroke design.

First thing, awesome Deathstroke design, simple yet very menacing, which fits the character perfectly.
With that out of the way onto the rant, I really hate what DC has done to Slade in the past few years. When the character first appeared in Teen Titans he was a very complex character, sure he was a enemy of the Titans but it was really more of a job then anything else. It only became personal after Jericho, his son, died.
However, after the events of the Judas Contract, when he saw what his revenge had coast, he decided to give up his career as a mercenary & retired & left the Titans on rather good terms. Hell in one comic Nightwing even let Slade stay at the Titans Tower because the guy was down on his luck.
Today, Deathstroke is a example of how NOT to do a bad ass because he is out right invincible. A Bad Ass is someone who can take on impossible odds & still win even when they are taking the beating of a life time. Slade in DC was able to beat Kyle by grabing his hand & over riding Kyle's will with his own. Bullshit! And that's just the tip of the ice berg on the level of stupidity when it comes to how tough Deathstroke is in DC & the awful New 52.
I know that DC will cancel New 52 & bring back the old DC given that several of their books have fallen in sales & after that the Real DC will return. I just hope it happens soon. Hopefully if Justice League War fails both financially and critically it will mark the begging of the end of The DCnU.
In other words, NOT BUY OR EVEN LOOK AT JUSTICE LEAGUE WAR!

Haha sorry I can't do that. I NEED to watch JL:War; been absolutely loving the animated movies so far. I don't see them dropping in quality. Even if they do, the design work is fantastic. That shouldn't be the reason to love these things, but what can I say? I'm a designer.
