so because a pokemon as alot of weeknessess it is useless? ok ill be sure to tell that to almost every grass pokemon, also alot of fossil pokemon aswell, and charizard.

I'm sorry about that man. But if a Pokemon Sports loads of weaknesses, That Pokemon is easy prey to Pokemon who have a nice advantage to the Dragon Sceptile. Fairies will easily destroy Sceptile (Provided he mega Evolved.)

The Only thing That might save Him from being useless is his stats. AS the mega form may give him more than enough speed boost to have him go first in fights. then he might just make it out there and win. (provided he is fighting pokemon who is weak against him and Pokemon who has poor defenses.). Empoleon Will be the only water starter that will give him serious trouble. (Empoleon is Water/Steel type. Allow him to take normal damage from Grass types.)

And yes, There are a few other Pokemon that are useless or way too risky to use due to having load of weaknesses. Aurorus is one example. having 6 weaknesses and two of them are 4x weakness. (one of them is very commonly used.)

Venusaur isn't too bad of a Grass type pokemon as its poison/grass type hybrid helps it a bit and its Mega Evolution gives it the much needed boost to be a better support and become even more useful than it was when it was still quite useful thanks to its powder moves.

i still dont think you understand how you are useing the word "useless" beacuse it may have quite a few weaknesses but it also has the speed and power to kick ass, grass types are some of the best types out there so dont undersetimate them beacuse of there weaknesses.

Grass type was kinda bad till later on in the gens. Now they are a lot better thanks to some changes. But they are stil a bit on the risky side since many Pokemon can use coverage or stab to deal super damage to Grass type.

With Sceptile being Grass/Dragon type. (Don't get me wrong I like a unique Typing.) He now suffers a 4x ice weakness which is what a 1/4 to 1/3 of all Dragons have...4x weakness to ice (which Ice moves are semi-commonly to commonly used.)

Yes the dragon covers the fire type weakness which is helpful. But now gaining 2 new weaknesses. Fairy, and Dragon type which makes Sceptile very, VERY risky to use. I guess he is not really "USELESS." But he will need to follow a one turn kill or be killed scenario. And in a double/Triple battle. He will need a fast Pokemon with the RIGHT typing or coverage to back him up against the Pokemon who are Predators to Sceptile.
