YES I got this up before the deadline, yay me~
Anyway so here's Ollie, my entry for the "surprise me" category in the contest since I thought a jewel thief would be cool.

Ugh though I'm gonna be honest I went through soooo many different color palette's for his feathers and scales ffffffffu. I still don't know if I'm happy with these but ehh
So yeah Ollie is half Cockatrice, half god-knows-what-else, and is actually a pretty decent guy once you get to know him. He isn't cruel or anything but he knows how tough life is out on the streets and what it takes to survive. And unfortunately for him the only way he knows how to get by is to steal.

Short Bio: Ollie was pretty much abandoned by his parents, and from the beginning Ollie's older brother raised him. His big bro was good enough to teach Ollie some basic school and about life in the big world, but he was a horrible role model. Soon enough Ollie's powers started to develope and the older brother decided to put them to use, mainly by robbery. (Ollie was especially interested at a young age to steal things that were SHINY or BRIGHT. It's almost like he NEEDS TO STEAL ALL THE GLITTERY STUFF IN THE WORLD.) However when Ollie was 13, his brother was killed in a gang related activity. Ollie's been on his own ever since.

And Ollie BTW doesn't have the FULL powers of a Cockatrice, that being the ability to turn others to stone. He's 50% Cockatrice, but the other 50% messes with his powers. So it's a hit or miss.
And his "invisibility" or "camoflouge" or whatever ya wanna call it, works a lot like Randall's from Monsters Inc. (except he doesn't wear clothes when he's all sneaky, so ignore the clothes in the right side doodles)
He does have a scale disease, and gets sick often, so scales and feathers are always falling off the poor guy. Ollie's really self-conscious about it too.
*shrug* So yup! Ollie, ladies and gentlemen.
