Description For Sale on Etsy: [link]

This fantastic necklace is made from faceted AAA spectrolite, AAA moonstone and a smooth AAA Labradorite briolette. The three gems have been carefully wrapped in oxidized sterling silver which has been gently polished. They are suspended from an 18" Italian made sterling silver snake chain. When you lay the pendant out flat it measures about 1 1/4" x 3/4"

---
This necklace was inspired by Karen Miller's Kingmaker, Kingbreaker Series, namely the final book, the Awakened Mage. All character mentions AND the following excerpt are copyright to her. I do not claim to own anything; just the design for the jewelry. Her work was simply an inspiration

For me, the stones in this Tribute of a necklace symbolize three things. The spectrolite, for Morg's evil brand of magic, the labradorite for the stormy magic Asher can wield, and the moonstone for the light and sacrfice by Gar, just like Barl long ago.

Excerpt: (page 703-The Awakened Mage, Orbit Paperback)

~Gar was shivering.
"Finish it, Asher! Quickly now! Before he kills anyone else!"
Yes, yes more than time to finish it. He could barely contain the maelstrom within. On a choking breath, he lifted his head to look deep into Morg's mad shining eyes. Opened his mouth and whispered
"Nux."
Killing magic seared through his veins. Out of his fingers clutched to Gar's shoulder, into Gar's body and down Gar's arm to burst from his fingertips in a stream of pure, gold fire...
For five slow heartbeats, Morg burned incandescent. Then came a crack of earsplitting sound. The golden fire bloomed. Blossomed. Swallowed the sun. Without a word, Gar slumped to the cobbles. Fell face upwards, green eyes staring at the cloudy sky. The sky with no Wall. Asher fell with him. He musn't let go, no matter what happened. ~ Copyright Karen Miller
