Just like one'd think you had finally paid attention to the 'critique not desired' header above the comment box.
Matt, I'm done defending my photo. Or any photo; you've added in some critique in the past which frankly was unwanted.
I don't need 'constructive criticism'. Not because I think I'm the best photographer ever to exist. But because I've got a taste of my own. A taste I've developed over the years that I've been doing this.
I looked at this particular photo and edited the colours to suit my own vision and personal taste. To me, the photo is perfect the way it is. There is nothing left to construct, as far as I'm concerned.
The photo is finished. Ready for print.
People can have their opinions but it's not going to change anything. It never will, that's why critique not desired is my default setting here at deviantART. All works uploaded here are finished to my complete satisfaction. I wish that would be respected. Especially because I don't upload every photo I ever take here. Only the ones I *really* like. I regularly update my gallery to remove older works, as well.
Not everyone may like what I do. But that's not the point. It's not their photograph to take, they are not their colours to edit, it's not their decision to use a polafilter.
If I were a paid photographer, then I'd say, sure. Tell me how you want it. But I'm not. I'm an expressive photographer working for no one but myself. It is my photo, to be used by me. So it is my choice.
Even if you disagree with me on this, it's besides the point. Critique is not just not desired. And that's that.
No hard feelings I hope, Matt... I like you and usually, your comments are awesome and really make me smile - so I never said anything. But kinda had to after your last comment. I hope you understand...!

Nice one, Kath. The perspective gives it a feeling of magic, as if it were on a dollhouse scale.
